Plant a tree for world peace
You are invited to join us for our annual tree planting day for world peace on Sunday 21st May. Each year Bodhipala Monastery aims to plant between 400-500 native trees to create a cool forest for the benefit of native wildlife and developing peaceful sanctuary conducive to Buddhist practice.
This year you are welcome to bring a native tree with you to plant on behalf of your family and friends,. The tree must be one of the following species so that it is suitable to this dry environment and thrives: River Red Gum, Sugar Gum, Pink Gum, Blue Gum and Shea Oak.
The program begins at 10am with the meal offering and blessing then at 12pm we will begin the tree planting.
